Ubisoft  a fost fondat în octombrie 1992 și a fost primul studio de producție al Ubisoft în afara Franței.

Ubisoft București este un pilon important al industriei de dezvoltare a jocurilor video în România. Cu un portofoliu de titluri importante, precum Silent Hunter, Blazing Angels sau Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X, compania a migrat catre co-development, lucrand la block bustere ca Just Dance, Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon și Watch Dogs.
